Shift: 4 on 4 off days and nights
Overview
This is a great opportunity for a maintenance engineer looking to work a rotational 12-hour shift with extended time off between each rotation. One of the well-known manufacturers is looking to recruit a maintenance engineer and is ready to hire immediately. As a maintenance engineer, you will be joining an experienced and supportive team with a strong track record. You will be a key team player in ensuring the factory runs up to speed and production levels are maintained.
Due to the current gap in the team, they need to employ a maintenance engineer who is electrically biased and qualified.
Responsibilities for the Maintenance Engineer
1. Proactive maintenance and site PMs
2. Reactive maintenance and responding to breakdowns quickly
3. Mainly working on electrical faults and maintenance with occasional mechanical work as well
4. Working on Engineering projects (e.g., commissioning, installations, relocations)
5. Identifying and implementing improvements covering both processes and machine output
6. Adhering to site Health & Safety rules and legislation
Requirements for the Maintenance Engineer
1. Time-served / recognised apprenticeship (or equivalent) in a relevant electrical engineering subject
2. Experience working in a multi-skilled role across mechanical and electrical engineering
3. Ability to and experience of working to a fast pace, ideally confident in a manufacturing environment
