As a member of the Strategic Operations and Transformation Team, you will be part of a high performing group of transformation professionals that is being relied on to deliver the critical changes needed over the next few years that will enable a step change in our operational performance. In this role, you'll steer essential initiatives within our Strategic Operations and Transformation team, spanning cost-efficiency, regulatory compliance, and environmental enhancements.
You will be part of a dynamic team of transformation experts, who are pivotal in propelling operational performance to new heights.
What you’ll be doing as a Transformation Manager
1. Manage initiatives and co-ordinate all activities ensuring outcomes and timelines are maintained.
2. Create the business engagement and information required for agreement of the right activities.
3. Manage and proactively identify risks, issues, and dependencies.
4. Produce and maintain programme and project documents.
5. Develop presentations and outward reporting.
6. Provide and deliver reports, presentations, and analysis of data as necessary.
7. Liaise with key stakeholders as required to support the delivery governance.
8. Support the delivery of targeted communications back to the business to enhance engagement.
Base Location – Hybrid Clearwater Court in Reading or our offices in Slough plus travel across sites as required for projects.
Working Pattern or hours – 36 hours a week, Monday to Friday.
What you should bring to the role
9. Self-motivation, drive and pragmatism are critical, as is a proven track record of successful delivery of complex operational projects.
10. Experience working in a similar role within water, utilities, or similar industries.
11. Experience creating and maintaining project documents.
12. Ability to work under pressure and effectively prioritise conflicting requirements.
13. A proactive and solutions focused approach to activities.
14. Ability to build cohesive relationships and influence key high level internal and external stakeholders.
15. Fully competent with all MS applications.
