She is looking for a young like-minded PA to help provide her care and support, as well make the transition into uni easier. Our client is an outgoing young lady who lives with Congenital Myopathy, and as a result is a full-time wheelchair user - she loves to socialise and doesnt let her disability control her life. She is also very creative and artistic and would appreciate it if her PA could support her in this too. As written by her "During my time at university, I would like to have the full experience despite my condition, so I need someone who is willing to have fun with me and encourage me to go out. I enjoy going out with my friends so I need someone who can help me get there so the ability to drive would be very useful, but I can also use public transport if necessary, such as if we are going somewhere with limited accessible parking. I like to be very independent so I am looking for somebody who can help me achieve this by helping me build my confidence to go to new places. I am quite laid back so some days I will just stay in my room either playing video games or watching tv so there will be lots of downtime for my PA when not needed but will still need to be near in case I need anything. I enjoy being creative so I will need someone who can help me get everything out like my paints and other art tools. I love music and would like to experience more concerts and go on fun nights out with my friends; I also like plants so I will need someone to water them for me."
