Flourish Education are seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to join an Ofsted-rated GOOD SEN secondary school near Bilston. This is an exciting opportunity to teach Maths to small classes of 5 students with additional support from 1-2 teaching assistants per class. This role would be on a temporary to permanent basis. Job Role: Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons to Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) students, including Higher GCSE, Functional Skills, and lower-level Maths. Differentiate learning to meet the needs of students with Autism, SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health needs), and trauma. Work alongside SEN Teaching Assistants to provide individualised support. Implement strategies for excellent behaviour management and emotional regulation. Contribute to a supportive and inclusive school environment that fosters students’ confidence and independence. Participate in extracurricular activities and school trips to enhance student engagement. Required Skills and Experience: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT) with experience teaching Maths. Previous experience in SEN settings or with students who have Autism, SEMH, or additional needs. Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and differentiation strategies. Excellent behaviour management skills and ability to create a positive learning environment. Passion for inclusive education and supporting students with diverse needs.
