We’re looking for the following attributes and experience:
* A minimum of 6 months’ professional care experience, for example in a care home, nursing home, healthcare assistant, domiciliary care worker or similar (Desirable)
* Household management skills e.g. cleaning, hoovering, and keeping a home tidy.
* Hold or commit to attaining a Level 2 Diploma in health and social care.
* Excellent English language skills – comprehension, spoken and written.
* Physically fit e.g. able to carry shopping bags, carry meal trays up and down stairs and undertake client moving and handling (with necessary equipment)
* You should have a valid driver's license and be able to self-drive (desirable).
Responsibilities:
* Assist residents with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
* Maintain accurate care plans and documentation in accordance with health regulations.
* Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to provide quality care.
* Drive to various locations as needed to deliver home care services.
* Uphold a safe and clean environment in the care home, adhering to health and safety standards.
* Support residents in maintaining their independence and dignity.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Zero hours contract
Pay: From £12.30 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 4 per week
