Main duties of the job
Your contributions will be key to the smooth functioning and success of the Business Support and wider teams within the ICB. You will help ensure our organisation runs efficiently, complies with regulations, and delivers top-notch services.
As a Business Support Administrator, you will be a flexible team player who can also work independently. Your role will involve:
* Preparing agendas, taking meeting notes, and ensuring follow-up actions are completed.
* Supporting Senior Managers and the team with various tasks, gathering information, and conducting inquiries as needed.
* Ensuring effective communication within the team and providing excellent customer service by managing mailboxes and directing inquiries appropriately.
* Assisting in managing and ordering resources to optimise usage and minimise wastage.

NHS Humber and North Yorkshire Integrated Care Board (ICB) is responsible for planning and arranging the provision of NHS services to meet the diverse health needs of a population of 1.7 million people. Our area reaches over 1,500 square miles and includes the cities of Hull and York and the large rural areas across East Yorkshire, North Yorkshire and Northern Lincolnshire. The ICB is part of the Humber and North Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership, one of 42 Integrated Care Systems (ICS) across England to meet health and care needs, coordinate services and plan in a way that improves population health and reduces inequality between groups. The Health and Care Partnership comprises NHS organisations, local councils, health and care providers and voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations.

You will be part of the Business Support team based in the East Riding of Yorkshire, providing essential business support to the wider ICB team. We offer free on-site parking and an annual leave entitlement starting at 27 days per year, plus bank holidays.
Person Specification
Qualifications
* Educated to NVQ / RSA level 3 or significant equivalent experience
* Understanding of, and commitment to equality of opportunity and good working relationships
* Awareness of a range of Health Services provisions
* Knowledge of NHS issues
* Understanding of Data Protection legislation
Experience
* Able to use IT to gather, interpret and manipulate information
* Demonstrable experience of working in a public facing administrative environment
* Experience of note taking
* Previous experience of working in the NHS
* Experience of minute taking
Skills and competencies
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products, (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
* Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
