Rotational General Maintenance – SaxaVord Spaceport, Shetland
Location: Shetland, SaxaVord Spaceport
Position Type: Full-time, Rotational (3 weeks on, 3 weeks off)
Salary: £12.00 per hour All travel fully paid

This role involves providing hands-on support with all general maintenance tasks across the SaxaVord Spaceport site. You will play a key part in ensuring the upkeep of facilities, contributing to the smooth running of operations, and assisting with activities that promote the overall success of SaxaVord Spaceport.
Key Responsibilities:
* Report any safety hazards or potential risks to site management promptly.
* Operate tools for grass cutting and other tasks to ensure green spaces are well-maintained and free from obstructions.
* Perform basic painting duties on both internal and external structures.
* Assist contractors (electricians, plumbers, carpenters, etc.) with their tasks as directed by the Maintenance Manager.
* Follow task instructions provided by management.
* Participate in routine inspections and preventative maintenance, either working alongside the team or independently.
