Job Description
Smartfix at Cox Motor Group has a great opportunity for a Trainee Wheel Repair Technician to join its high functioning Alloyfix Team. This is a great opportunity to develop your career with one of the North West’s leading motor groups.
Previous experience is not required as you will receive full training; this position would be suitable for a school leaver or someone new to the motor trade.
What you’ll be doing:
As a Wheel Repair Trainee Technician, you will be trained to be responsible for carrying out any general wheel repairs (internal and external) to customer vehicles and used-car stock. Duties will include; tyre removal and refit, repairs to painted and Diamond cut wheels (using our CNC Lathe) along with wheel straightening and balancing. You will prioritise according to business needs and carry out work to the highest standard of workmanship, using the tools provided.
Your experience/skills:
No experience needed, but any previous motor trade experience will be advantageous. You will enjoy exceeding customer expectations and working to a high standard. You will have physical and manual dexterity to undertake detailed repair work.
