About the role
The exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team as a Library Supervisor. 18 hours per week, to be agreed but will include 1 weekend in 4.
The ideal candidate will have management experience as you will be responsible for managing buildings and supervising a team of staff across different libraries. You will be responsible for developing library events and activities and will work in partnership to ensure that the library reaches out and is part of the local community offer.
The successful candidate will be required to work at any Library Service point across the Borough at service need.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about libraries, books, and developing reading skills and someone who wants to make a real difference in the community. You must have excellent communication and ICT skills.
