Job Description
As our IT Support Apprentice your main responsibilities will be:
1. Provide IT consulting and customer support for mobile devices
2. Provide IT consulting and customer support for computer desktop/laptop & tablet devices
3. Support field service solutions/applications/hardware
4. Support on-site AV solutions and systems
5. User administration
6. Provide customer support solutions
7. Support customer support applications
8. Participate in customer support drop-in sessions
9. Installing and setting up hardware and software
10. Provide Office 365 Administration & support
11. Resolve customers IT problems via telephone, remote control or in person
12. Maintaining asset register records
13. Assisting in the roll out of new IT procedures
14. Prioritising daily and other workload to ensure that any outstanding issues are resolved or escalated
15. Take agreed responsibility for specified areas on IT Support functions and technical issues as agreed, including the introduction of new technologies into the department and the Bosch Group
16. Create, maintain and participate in the departmental knowledgebase and documentation process

This is a 22 month contract starting from Summer 2024.
It is a requirement of this position that you enrol in ‘Level 3 Information Communications Technician Apprenticeship’. The role will be 80% working/20% study.
Eligibility criteria apply to apprenticeship roles are as follows:
* Be a UK resident and live in England 50% of the year.
* Have lived in the EU or the UK for the previous 3 years continuously.
To apply for the programme, participants cannot:
* Be enrolled in full-time education
* Be currently participating in another apprenticeship programme
* Be on a Tier 1, Tier 4 or Tier 5 Visa
* Be currently pursuing another qualification that is government-funded
Participants will need to provide evidence of level 2 qualification in Maths & English at GCSE grade C or equivalent or work towards obtaining these throughout the programme. If candidates don't have these qualification certificates, they will be supported to locate their certificates through a 3rd party company, and/or achieve Level 2 through additional coaching.
Additional Information
Working Hours: 39 hours a week; Mon – Thurs 08.00 - 17.00 and Fri 08.00 - 16.00 with a 1 hour unpaid break.
Location: Cotswold Way, Worcester, WR4 9SW (this is an office-based role).
