As part of the ongoing evolution of our People and Culture team at FFE, we are seeking a Learning and Development Advisor to develop and support strategic initiatives across the organisation. This new role is in response to a recent successful flexible working request within the team.
The Learning and Development Advisor will be instrumental in identifying learning and development needs across the organisation and recommending and implementing appropriate interventions. They will be involved in various projects designed to continuously improve the staff experience and ensure that the organisation has the right skills and talent to support its ambitious growth plans over the next five years.
As part of a small team, this role will also provide cover for the HR Advisor on their non-working days, including processing recruitment and monitoring the shared mailbox, escalating to the Head of HR as required.
Coordinating training provision, including sourcing and liaising with training providers to identify the most effective training interventions. To embed the new line management training across the organisation.
Monitoring and assess the effectiveness of mandatory training, ensuring that it meets company needs and any necessary compliance requirements.
To ensure that appropriate and effective evaluation systems and processes are in place to measure the effectiveness of learning and development initiatives and drive continuous improvement.
To optimise the use of FFE’s apprenticeship levy to meet individual and wider organisational development needs.
Collate and review training requests from the PDP process and conduct training needs analysis across the organisation.
Support the development and implementation of action plans aimed at improving staff engagement based on insights from the staff survey.
Support the development, implementation and embedding of succession planning practices and talent management across the organisation to fully utilise potential and meet future and changing business needs.
Evaluate summer placement programmes looking at how these are offered and promoted to maximise future talent pipelines of diverse talent.
Provide cover for the HR Advisor, including progressing recruitment and monitoring the shared HR mailbox, escalating to the Head of HR as required.
Learning and Development experience in a multi-location organisation
Strong understanding of learning and development principles, methodologies and best practice
Strong planning and organisational acumen with the ability to simultaneously manage a number of projects
