We are looking for a Finance Business Partner to join our Finance Department.
The Finance Business Partner will provide strategic financial support to the business, working closely with senior leadership, department heads, and other key stakeholders. This is a hands-on role that will involve a significant level of data collation & analysis to drive financial decision-making to help improve business performance, efficiency, and profitability.
The role is ideally suited to someone with a logical, analytical and systems orientated mindset. As a manufacturing business, a key part of the role will be the ability to understand and where necessary challenge operational processes and cost accounting to inform our pricing strategy.
The role will require time to be divided between our three sites (one in Bath and two in Devizes) depending on business demands.
Key responsibilities:
* Business Partnering & Strategy: Collaborate with senior leaders and key departments to provide financial insights and strategic recommendations that drive business performance.
* Pricing: Collating and analysing historic data on cost of production. Determining a best estimate of current production costs to inform pricing decisions.
* Cost Management: Analyse and challenge cost drivers, working closely with departments to optimise spending and improve efficiency.
* Financial Analysis: Conduct regular analysis of financial results, KPIs, and business performance, identifying areas of improvement and proposing actionable solutions.
* Financial Planning: Support financial planning initiatives, including long-term strategy development, capital investments, and financial modelling for new business opportunities.
* Project Support: Provide financial insight and support to key projects, ensuring financial viability and tracking project costs and benefits.
* Ad Hoc Analysis: Conduct detailed ad hoc analysis for various business needs, helping the leadership team make informed decisions.

* Ability / desire to quickly learn the detailed workings of the ERP system to produce, analyse and report and interrogate financial information.
* Ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable business insights.
* Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into business-friendly terms.
* Ability to build strong relationships and influence non-financial stakeholders.
* Experience with ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel would be advantageous.
* Experience working in a manufacturing environment (desirable)
* Attention to detail: Highly accurate and detail-oriented, ensuring that financial data and reports are precise.

Qualifications:
Minimum requirements for the role:
* GCSE Maths & English – Grade 4 to 9 (A to C)
* Minimum two A levels with grade A to C
