AWE is currently recruiting for a Principal Business Relationship Manager for the Information Services Business Engagement Team who will predominantly oversee the BRM Team.
Key Accountabilities:
* Accountable for developing and maintaining effective relationships with business partners and increasing the maturity of the relationships.
* Accountable for creating a community within IS of those who support those business partners who understand the context and drivers.
* Accountable for creating and maintaining roadmaps which describe the key business drivers, and the IS services that will be provided in response.
* Accountable for the development and negotiation of commitments; thereafter acts as proxy customer within IS to stimulate to the delivery of agreed initiatives.
* Accountable for representing the view of the business within IS.
* Accountable for representing IS to the business.
* Accountable for processing demand until handover to delivery and supporting requirements for information and reporting.
* Accountable for articulating the value of the current IS portfolio (past, present and future investments) and driving maximum exploitation.
* Additional accountabilities for this job profile may be defined and appointed through the Chief Engineer Management Arrangements, with appointees listed within the Company Design Authorities and Technical Authorities, as held in the company management system.
Key Responsibilities:
* Facilitate productive stakeholder connections and mobilize projects and programs; active engagement at the strategic level.
* Contribute to business strategic planning and road mapping; influence business partner strategy through awareness of IS services and new technology capabilities; influence IS service development through awareness of business partner direction.
* Work with Portfolio delivery leads to ensure a smooth transition to delivery.
* Regular support to team talk.
* Should have experience of successfully leading and managing a high performing and motivated team
* Maintains and promotes high personal standards in environment, safety, health, security and quality and be a great team player.
* The Company may require you to fulfil any other reasonable duties aligned to your position from time to time in line with business needs.

This role would be suitable for/appeal to someone with a background in Business Architecture, Business System Manager, Business Function partnering or Account Directorship

* You will need to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role. This will be funded by AWE. The nature of our work does mean you need to be a British Citizen who has been resident in the UK for the past 5 years in order to apply for SC clearance and 10 years for DV.
