Garden Centre Team Leader
Full Time 39 Hours Per Week – Fully Flexible including Weekends
British Garden Centres is a well-known large UK retailer known for its high-quality customer service, plants, and restaurants. As a growing family business, we are driven to have the best quality customer service in our Garden Centres.
We are currently looking for a permanent Garden Centre Team Leader at our Ramsgate Garden Centre. You will be responsible for ensuring the Sundries Department runs smoothly through both managing the team and stock.
This role will be for a minimum of 39 hours per week including weekends. There will also be the chance to work plenty of overtime, so ideally you will be able to be flexible.
Requirements of the Role:
• Strong communication skills and be professional.
• Supervisory experience and you must work well under pressure.
• Be dedicated to high standards of customer service.
• Have experience using tills and issuing refunds.
• Good working knowledge of health and safety.
Duties will include:
• Delivering exceptional customer service ensuring all customers leave happy.
• Supervisory duties including key holder.
• Organising team rotas and to support the centre manager with staff issues.
• Ensuring the team provide a high standard of customer service whilst working efficiently to ensure the sundries department always looks its best.
• Making sure the centre is compliant on health and safety.
