The school itself has established a strong reputation within the local community, with its recent Ofsted inspection rated the school as ‘Good’. We are looking to appoint someone who is able to motivate groups of pupils and work closely with the class teacher to support all learners. You will need good literacy and numeracy skills. You will need to: have a passion for education and a desire to progress learning and skills be enthusiastic and confident be someone with a commitment to our school's core values and a focus on the pupils be able to keep records and paperwork up to date be an excellent team player who can also use your own initiative to work independently be able to demonstrate high expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour be flexible and able to adjust to the needs of the learners, class or school. Ideally you will also have the following desirable, but not essential, qualities that we are looking for: previous experience working within a school setting a Level 3 qualification in Education/Childcare or equivalent practical experience in working with SEND pupils one-to-one.
