Job Title:
An Integrity Engineer is required to join a global manufacturer of Petrochemicals.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will define, evaluate and report on mechanical pressure equipment inspections to ensure compliance with statutory requirements for safe, reliable operations. This role offers a challenging opportunity for an experienced engineer to make a significant impact in the company's maintenance strategy.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and manage inspection portfolios and databases.
* Create written schemes of examination for mechanical equipment.
* Analyze and report on inspection and non-destructive testing results.
* Conduct risk-based inspection assessments to identify potential threats to plant safety.
* Provide technical support to inspectors during inspection preparation and review.
* Investigate equipment failures and report on in-service degradation.
* Plan and coordinate inspections for plant turnarounds and projects.
* Evaluate equipment fitness for service and perform assessments.
* Establish and monitor integrity operating windows.
Requirements:
* A minimum degree in a mechanical discipline is required.
* The successful candidate will have at least 5 years' experience as an Integrity Engineer.
* Familiarity with pressure vessels, pipework, tanks, relief devices, and other mechanical equipment is essential.
* Detailed knowledge of relevant legislation, codes, and standards is necessary.
* Understanding of materials and damage mechanisms is also required.
* Knowledge of inspection and non-destructive testing methods is crucial.
* Experience with risk-based inspection and fitness for service is highly valued.
Compensation:
The salary for this position is estimated at $120,000 per annum, based on industry standards and the location of the company.
