The Role
:
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with a background in the heavy-duty engineering or machinery.
You will be joining a team of 4 Project Managers and will be responsible for overseeing project delivery throughout Mechanical, Electrical and Controls specialities who you will be working alongside day to day on new projects, Managing the delivery of these projects from start to finish.
You will be responsible for managing up to 10 projects simultaneously, with an average project value of around £300,000 - £600,000, and a typical project length of up to 9 months.
To perform your activities, you will employ the use of Systems and tools such as Monday.com, MS Projects and Sage 200
Your Responsibilities will include:
1. Plan, execute, and oversee projects from inception to completion.
2. Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for project execution.
3. Develop detailed project plans and ensure resource allocation.
4. Track and monitor project progress, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
5. Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs.
6. Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
7. Establish and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
8. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
9. Ensure clear and transparent communication across departments.
Qualifications & Experience:
10. Degree in Engineering, or a related field.
11. Previous experience in project management, preferably in the heavy machinery industry.
12. Strong knowledge of project management methodologies.
13. Proficiency in project management software (e.g. MS Project, Monday.com)
14. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
15. Experience in the design, manufacturing, and assembly of machinery.
16. Ability to travel internationally when required.
