People Services lead on all HR aspects for the University in addition to supporting organisational development, staff development, Equality and Diversity and Health and Safety. The department is made up of various teams and the People Services Administrator will play a key role within the central administrative team.
Reporting to the People Services Department Coordinator and working within a small team of professional administrators, you will provide administrative support for the University’s Health and Safety workstream and a range of staff engagement initiatives focused on Organisational Development, Learning and Development and other People Services projects and activities.
You will have strong administrative and organisational skills and experience in a project support or administrative role, ideally within an HR, Health & Safety and/or Organisational Development/ Learning and Development setting. You will thrive in a busy environment that requires the ability to multi-task effectively, and will be confident and professional. You will be comfortable working to tight deadlines and dealing with high volumes of administration whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy.
You will require personal judgement to deal with and resolve day to day problems/work related issues within established processes and procedures. You will require be required to gain comprehensive knowledge of procedures and systems relevant to the role together with a sound appreciation of the work activities of the broader team.
This is a hybrid working role where the current requirement is a minimum of two days worked on campus however, there may be a requirement for additional days to be on site to attend meetings and/or training and is subject to change to meet the needs of the business.
