Position: Senior Event Marketing Manager
Location: London (Hybrid Working)
Award-winning events business seeks a highly talented Senior Event Marketing Manager to join their rapidly growing events team. This role will work across a portfolio of flagship, market-leading B2B conferences ranging in size from 300 to 40,000 people and will involve team management of several marketing executives.
The successful Senior Events Marketing Manager will help to plan, organise and execute innovative marketing campaigns primarily across a portfolio of award-winning conferences. Supported by the Head of Marketing, the candidate will be responsible for the planning and implementation of exceptional global marketing campaigns, delivered on time and within budget. Additionally, you will manage your team ensuring they are delivering successful campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Planning and delivering cross-channel digital marketing campaigns in line with event or project objectives.
2. Assisting with the design, production, and distribution of all promotional materials.
3. Writing and proofing copy for a range of marketing platforms & materials including websites, social media, emails, and brochures.
4. Maintaining and updating conference websites.
5. Management of a team.
6. Using digital channels and technologies to enhance the online presence of the business.
7. Managing and segmenting data, identifying gaps, developing new data sources, and implementing a data build plan.
8. Continuous analysis and evaluation of marketing campaigns to improve performance.
Key Knowledge & Skills Required:
1. 5+ years in B2B conferences.
2. Some team leadership experience/management.
3. Solid understanding of the events and digital media landscape.
4. An interest in telecommunications would be great.
5. Proven ability to learn new tools and software quickly and independently.
6. Strong experience in areas including insight development and audience segmentation.
7. Literate and numerate with exemplary verbal and written English.
8. Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
9. Experience using a CRM system such as Pardot or Salesforce.
10. Experience using a website CMS.
11. Excellent knowledge of best practices across email, social media, paid media, landing pages & websites.
12. In-depth knowledge of marketing performance metrics.
13. Excellent ability to strategically interpret data trends and gaps, providing analysis & recommendations.
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits
