The University of Brighton is looking to recruit to the role of Apprenticeship Manager to oversee the effective operational development and delivery of the University’s expanding portfolio of higher and degree apprenticeships. Reporting to the Head of Apprenticeships and with line management responsibility for the Apprenticeships Team, the Apprenticeship Manager will use their exceptional partnership working skills and strong experience of apprenticeship funding rules and regulations to establish and maintain robust business processes and ensure an excellent customer service is provided to internal and external clients.
This exciting role sits in the Technical Education and Apprenticeships Hub which has a remit to provide cross-university strategic leadership for apprenticeships, Technical Education, including Higher Technical Qualification (HTQ) development, and strategic partnership developments with colleges.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A successful track record of managing the delivery of apprenticeships, ideally in an HE or FE context
2. An understanding of the rapidly evolving policy landscape in skills and technical education.
3. Experience of providing effective operational management of staff in a complex, fast paced environment working with both internal and external stakeholders to meet deadlines and key performance indicators.
