Battery Simulation and Verification Engineer (EV)
A world-renowned luxury car manufacturer is looking to grow the team at their state-of-the-art production facility. They are actively looking for a Battery Simulation and Verification Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for simulation, integration, and validation of the HV Battery systems at component, pack, and vehicle level, across all programmes:
The Battery Simulation and Verification Engineer (EV) will:
* Conduct software tests on component, rig, and vehicles to validate different functionalities, using the quality processes for automotive industry: 8D, Ishikawa, etc.
* Develop plant models for cells, contactors, sensors, and other components of the battery systems.
* Be responsible to conduct the validation plans as well as analyse and debug any battery issue coming from the fleet.
* Issue tracking reported during testing: being part of the root cause analysis team, ensuring the adequate validation.
* Develop and coordinate test plans to ensure the BMS is fully validated by the time the certification is required.
The Battery Simulation and Verification Engineer (EV) will have:
* Engineering Degree in Electrical, Electronic and/or related field.
* Prior battery component design experience, such as busbars, connectors, etc.
* Hands-on experience working with vehicle LV and HV systems.
* Communication toolsets: VECTOR toolset (CANalyzer/ CANoe) or Bosh (ETAS / INCA).
* Advanced understanding of Battery Systems and BMS - State flow, Diagnostic, Fault thresholds, Software flashing.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to organise multiple inputs into succinct summary.
