Property Acquisition Manager – Midlands – Up to £38,000 + Company Car

What you will be doing
The key purpose of the role is to support the Head of Acquisition to deliver the appropriate volume and type of properties for the contract, to the required quality standards and at the lowest full-life cost.
1. Manage a team of five Property Negotiators/Managers
2. First line of contact for all day-to-day queries from the Property team; operations and existing landlord and investor network
3. Manage the negotiations for lease agreements
4. Undertake quality assurance on new properties, alongside Head of Acquisition
5. Responsible for collating and developing weekly and monthly reporting
6. Regular review of pipeline to monitor appropriate allocation; volumes and timescales and to deal with and/or escalate potential issues as they arise
7. Attend external stakeholder meetings as required
8. Continuous development of opportunities for new property streams through landlords, agents, and developers
What you will have
1. Detailed understanding of the Lettings market and current legislation
2. Understanding of HMO’s and the associated compliance
3. Experience managing a team and being a leader
4. Desire to help people less fortunate
5. Full UK driving licence
