Role: Commercial Graduate Accountant
Location: West London - 4 days in office
Salary: £30-32k + study support (ACCA/CIMA)
This is a globally recognised and leading media entertainment business based in west London. They work with a vast portfolio of top artists and music distributors internationally, providing exceptional service.
Due to recent growth & internal promotions, they are now looking to recruit a top recent graduate to join their Commercial Finance department, with opportunity to study and qualify as an Accountant.
Role
The Commercial Graduate Accountant will support the commercial and finance functions reporting, budgeting and analysis. This position will take on a number of key duties including:
* Support on management financial reporting information on a regular basis.
* Take ownership of the royalties process through new system, setting up contracts and statements.
* Assist in monthly modelling for budgets and forecasts.
* Assist wider team with month end including journal preparation and balance sheet reconciliations.
* Raise payments and other costs in a timely fashion.
* Work through data sets and liaise with necessary teams around set information and clean-ups.
* Review sales files and assist with pricing and preparation of uploads.
* Support continued development and improvement of financial processes.
* Carry out ad hoc duties as directed by management team.
Profile
The ideal profile for this Commercial Graduate Accountant position should have the following attributes:
* Recent 2023/2024 graduate from a technical discipline (Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Business etc.)
* High academic results, 2.1 minimum, ideally from Russell Group universities.
* Placement year in finance & accounting, or relevant experience in a finance capacity.
* Confident with Excel and other applications.
* Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal.
* Keen on becoming a qualified Accountant and studying towards a relevant certification (ACCA/CIMA).
