Business Development Representative (Midlands/Remote)
We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for a passionate and driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our Enabling Toolkits team. This team focuses on selling our technology-partner software products: AnyLogic, anyLogistix, Gurobi, and Composabl, as well as Decision Lab’s associated services and training in simulation, optimisation, and reinforcement learning.

Responsibilities
1. Market Engagement: Proactively engage with prospects to spark interest in our software’s capabilities, articulate their value proposition, and identify client needs.
2. Lead Conversion: Manage and nurture leads using tools like HubSpot CRM, converting them into qualified opportunities and closed sales.
3. Solution Selling: Conduct high-level discussions with B2B and B2C clients, presenting software features and its application in industries like supply chain, healthcare, and manufacturing.
4. Collaborative Innovation: Work closely with product, technical, and training teams to align offerings with customer needs and gather feedback to improve the product.
5. Sales Strategy: Maintain accurate records of interactions, pipeline stages, and feedback in CRM systems to ensure strategic alignment and progress tracking.
6. Target Achievement: Meet monthly and quarterly activity and sales targets, ensuring consistent growth in revenue and market presence.
Skills and Experience Required
1. Sales and Client Management: Minimum 1 year of experience in a sales-based, customer-facing role is essential.
2. Technical Acumen: Familiarity with or enthusiasm to learn about our enabling toolkits and their applications in solving complex business problems.
3. Communication Skills: Strong ability to assess client needs, present tailored solutions, and explain technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
4. Proactive and Adaptable: High energy, a growth mindset, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
5. Problem-Solving Aptitude: An ability to approach challenges methodically and propose innovative solutions.

Our sales representatives enjoy the following incentives:
1. Base salary of 38,500
2. On Target Earnings of £55K with base and variable split (depending on experience)
3. Deal commission uncapped
