Prospero Teaching are working on behalf of a lovely primary school in Winchester, seeking a compassionate and dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a Year 6 child with specific educational needs. The successful candidate will work closely with the child, providing tailored support to enhance their learning and development.
As a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide 1:1 support to a Year 6 child, adapting teaching methods to meet their individual needs.
- Assist with classroom activities and ensure the child is fully engaged in their learning.
- Implement personalised learning plans and strategies.
- Monitor and record the child's progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Support the child's social and emotional development.
- Collaborate with teachers, SENCO, and other staff to ensure consistent support
