Reporting into the Manager of Industrial/Retail Asset Management, you will work on a team that oversees 11 million sq. ft. of assets valued at $3.5 billion. Having over 600 tenants, we conduct roughly 100 lease transactions per year. The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter who is interested in commercial real estate and eager to learn.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Complete reporting and analysis to support internal valuations, external appraisals, leasing and investment decisions.
* Assist with the creation of annual operating budgets and business plans.
* Perform financial reviews on prospective tenants as part of due diligence for lease transactions.
* Assist in marketing efforts such as broker event planning and development of marketing materials.
* Work with internal teams including Investments, Development, Accounting and Property Management to streamline property operations and drive returns.
* Special projects as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
* Currently enrolled in university, ideally in a business or real estate related degree and planning to return to school in fall 2025.
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Argus experience is an asset.
* Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities within tight deadlines.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
