Initial Ced 31/12/2025 The Workflow Manager (WM) has the responsibility to deliver the end-to-end on-site planning integration of the delivery, on-site assembly, installation, commissioning and maintenance activities for all permanent building cranes. The WM reports to the Project Manager (Cranes) and will ensure planning integration across supplier, area, construction and integrated work schedules - including the physical validation of access availability and work progress in the field, ensuring that work proceeds to meet the needs of the overall Project schedule This post is for the end-to-end planning integration of two contracts for all permanent building cranes. The Workflow Manager will be responsible for projects that feature: Direct accountability for planning integration management with value in the region of £60m Interaction with associates in France and with HPC Area, Building, Site Construction and supplier teams together with multi-disciplinary functional support Principal Accountabilities Deliver the end-to-end on-site planning integration of the delivery, on-site assembly, installation, commissioning and maintenance activities for all permanent building cranes. Ensure planning integration across supplier, area, construction and integrated work schedules - including the physical validation of access availability and work progress in the field, ensuring that work proceeds to meet the needs of the overall Project schedule. Ensure resource loaded schedules are developed and maintained for the contract or package of work. Ensure such schedules are consistent with overall Project schedules and escalate any discrepancies Assist the Project Manager to develop and implement strategies and plans in line with the overall programme execution plan, setting out how the programme of work will be managed, organised, and executed. Maintain effective communications with all stakeholders and executing the project strategies within the contract or package of work Anticipate, manage, and resolve issues within the contract or package. Identify planning risks and facilitate the resolution of all issues raised Ensure that lessons-learnt and knowledge-capture are practiced as business as usual. Interface with other programmes to ensure a high-level view of how the total project is progressing and to identify and adopt the use of best practice Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications, Experience Quantity Surveying qualifications and / or experience. Proficiency in Primavera P6 planning software. Construction integration experience including monitoring physical progress of works completed. Working knowledge of CDM Regulations. Proficient numeracy, analytical and critical reasoning skills. Proficient application of estimating, scheduling, programming and risk tools. Excellent presentation, influencing and facilitation skills. Understanding the needs of nuclear quality and how nuclear quality is assured and controlled. Demonstrated experience in: Engineering design, contract, and field execution strategies for project delivery. Management of complex contracts. Control of costs, risk, schedule, and change. Management of commercial claims and associated negotiation experience. Successful experience in engaging multi-level stakeholders including contractors, consultants, and advisors in a regulated environment. Experience operating within FIDIC commercial arrangements- desirable but not essential.
