Hours: 37.5 hours p/week - Monday to Friday 9.00 am – 5.30 pm (1 hour lunch).
A small consultancy based firm that offer a comfortable and peaceful setting at their rural office. An establish company offering a permanent position to support a small team of consultants, with a professional and friendly team.
Main purpose of job:
You will be responsible for providing secretarial, PA and administrative support to members of the Business Department (in conjunction with other secretaries) along with dealing with general telephone enquiries. The role offers a diverse workload.
Key responsibilities:
Audio typing correspondence, notes and reports to a high standard
Setting up new clients and jobs, conflict of interest checks
Diary management, including arranging meetings
Answering calls, taking messages and handling correspondence
Updating databases and contact lists
Liaising with clients, tenants and other professionals
Preparation of fees
Filing and archiving
Producing job and billing reports
Assisting other departments as required Requirements
Excellent audio typing skills with high level of accuracy
Ability to prioritise workload and work to tight deadlines
Excellent grammar and spelling
Good computer skills – knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, along with an ability to learn and use new computer software packages.
Good organisational and time management skills
High level of attention to detail
Ability to work under own initiative
Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality
Ability to work in a team
Strong diary management skills
