Main Duties:

* Professional Development: Commit to ongoing professional development and meet revalidation requirements.
* Support and Induct Staff: Assist new, junior, and agency staff with induction and support them in delivering high standards of care.
* Complete Mandatory Training: Finish all mandatory training and competency assessments within required timeframes.
* Maintain Professional Relationships: Build and maintain positive relationships with patients, colleagues, and visitors, addressing requests and concerns promptly.
* Participate in Supervision: Engage in monthly clinical supervision and reflective practice.
Requirements of the Registered Mental Health Nurse:
* Nursing Registration: Must be a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Registered Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD) with an ACTIVE NMC PIN Registration.
* Motivation for PICU Service: Strong desire and enthusiasm to work within a Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) service.
* Readiness for New Challenges: Be motivated, adaptable, and eager to embrace new challenges.
