Zip Water is a global leader in providing advanced drinking water solutions, including filtered boiling, chilled, and sparkling water.
We are currently seeking a Specification Manager to join our team, focusing on the Instanta brand.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving specification and sales of Instanta products through engagement with key specifiers, such as catering equipment suppliers. You will work closely with the sales team to identify and track project opportunities, provide technical and product support, and deliver outstanding customer service.
The role of a Specification Manager is to generate profitable business from new and existing accounts by building effective relationships with the right people and creating enough influence to shape their specification and purchasing decisions.
The successful candidate will have a background in specification sales, preferably within the food service, catering equipment or hospitality industry, along with a strong network and relationships within the South region. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills are essential for this role. Additionally, knowledge of building regulations, standards, and industry trends in the food service sector would be beneficial.

The successful candidate will be required to travel to Ireland periodically as per business requirements.
Requirements
Main responsibilities:
* Drive specification and sales of Instanta products
* Creating and maintaining an effective call cycle of prospect accounts to create demand (HORECA, Public Sector, Stadiums etc)
* Regular market research to identify opportunities to WIN
* Building effective relationships with the right people, utilising networking activities within key markets.
* Communicating and coordinating with internal departments to support new business opportunities and create successful outcomes
* Owning all Specification touch points during any project and feeding back accurate data into the project tracking system (CRM)
* Ensure call cycle activity is maintained and is reflective of account priority and size to ensure retention of business
* Utilising solution selling techniques to identify opportunities for all products in the Instanta and Zip product range
* Deliver outstanding customer service throughout the sales process
What we're looking for:
* Background in specification sales, preferably in the food service or hospitality industry
* Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
* Knowledge of building regulations, standards, and industry trends in the food service sector (beneficial)
* Self-motivated and results-driven
* Proficiency in CRM software
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
