Salary: Up to £55,000 per year
We are looking for a Registered Manager or a driven Deputy Manager looking for that next step in their career. This is your chance to take the lead at a brand-new two-bed EBD children’s home in Duston. With the full support of a well-established, high-quality residential childcare provider, you’ll have everything you need to make a real impact.
Since 2017, our client has been delivering exceptional residential childcare across 11 successful homes, all rated Good or Outstanding by Ofsted. Now, they’re looking for a strong, passionate leader to join their team and help them continue delivering exceptional care to young people.

As the Registered Manager, you’ll be responsible for shaping the home’s culture and ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance. Here’s what your day-to-day will involve:
* Oversee all operational aspects of the home, ensuring everything meets Ofsted’s regulatory and quality standards.
* Develop personalised care plans to support their emotional, social, and educational growth.
* Recruit, train, and lead a talented care team, creating a supportive, positive work environment.
* Act as the safeguarding lead, ensuring young people’s safety, well-being, and rights are protected.
* Establish a stable, nurturing environment where young people feel supported, valued, and empowered.
* Work with families, external agencies, and multi-disciplinary teams to achieve the best outcomes for young people.
* Oversee budgets, staffing, and operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly and sustainably.
What We’re Looking For:
We’re looking for a leader who can create a positive, structured environment for both young people and staff. The ideal person will have:
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards it).
* At least five years in residential childcare, including leadership or management roles.
* A solid understanding of Ofsted regulations, compliance standards, and legislation.
* A track record of delivering high-quality care and achieving positive outcomes for young people.
* The ability to inspire and develop a team to provide exceptional care.
* A calm head under pressure and the ability to make informed decisions when faced with challenges.
