Job summary The Runnymede Medical Practice (RMP) team is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated GP to join us for a fixed term maternity locum cover for a minimum of 9 months starting in August 2025. Main duties of the job 6 sessions over 3 daysCompetitive salary based on experience, skills and scope of practice 6 weeks annual leave 1 week study leave (pro rata) 11,900 patients across 2 sites (two miles apart) in separate villages Collaborative and team player to: Provide high quality care in an already high scoring QOF practice Manage, investigate and refer patients as appropriate in line with current guidance Deal promptly with results and correspondence via shared workload and workflow systems Effectively manage own time, workload and resources Report Significant Events involving the practice Use EMIS Web, Docman, Ardens and AccuRx to support our clinical work About us Very supportive senior leadership team: GPs: 4 partners (3 have been at the practice 20 years), 2 SalariedClinical: Paramedic, pharmacists, nurses, HCAs, MSK physios Non-clinical: efficient team trained in workflow to process docman, etc. Training practice for two GP training schemes Windsor and Chertsey: Regular GP registrars training across both sites Medical students Educational opportunities if desired Primary Care Network (PCN) support: Dedicated home visiting service to support with visits Collaborative and high-functioning PCN within Frimley ICB Regular training and CPD opportunities Other notables: RMP supports two care homes, two learning disability care homes, a local school and prison step-down unit, meaning we have a broad patient demographic.
