Your Role as Director of Projects End-to-End Leadership: Oversee the full project lifecycle, from strategy and pre-construction to execution, ensuring quality, budget, and timeline objectives are met. Client & Stakeholder Management: Work with blue-chip companies, architects, engineers, and subcontractors, building strong relationships and ensuring seamless project execution. Commercial & Financial Oversight: Take ownership of multi-million-pound CAPEX budgets, procurement strategy, and contract negotiations. Technical & Operational Excellence: Ensure compliance with engineering, M&E, HVAC, fabrication, and industrial construction standards. Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and develop a team of high-performing project managers, driving transformation and excellence. Who We're Looking For A Proven Project Leader: 7 years of experience in leading large-scale commercial, industrial, manufacturing, data centre, or logistics projects. A Strategic Thinker: A track record of business transformation, operational excellence, and driving high-growth environments. A Technical Expert: Experience in M&E, HVAC, fabrication, and complex industrial project delivery, ideally in manufacturing, logistics, or large-scale commercial builds. A Commercially Minded Leader: Proven ability to manage budgets, contracts, procurement strategies, and P&L accountability. A People-Centric Leader: Passionate about building and leading high-performing teams, fostering collaboration, and driving measurable results. A Compliance & Safety Champion: Strong knowledge of regulatory standards, risk mitigation, and health & safety best practices. Degree-Educated in Engineering: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline. Your Background Might Include: Project Director / Head of Projects experience in Manufacturing Plant Builds, Data Centres, M&E, Heavy Industrial, Logistics, or Large-Scale Commercial Fit-Outs. Extensive experience leading multi-million-pound, complex installation projects, from initial concept to commissioning. Expertise in manufacturing facility construction, factory expansions, industrial site development, and advanced engineering solutions. A career background with main contractors, commercial real estate developers, international construction services firms, or specialist engineering consultancies, delivering large-scale, high-value projects. Strong understanding of contracting principles (JCT, NEC3/4), APM or PMP qualifications, and technical project management methodologies.
