Due to a well-deserved retirement, we are now looking for a Village Manager at Richmond Village Wood Norton. As a Village Manager, you’ll lead and take responsibility for the Village operations, the teams within it, and the residents who live there. Whether you’ve worked as a Care Home Manager or in a Regional Management role, your knowledge will be invaluable for our residents and pivotal to the care we provide. With the support of the Operational Manager and our Head of Departments, you will drive innovation and support our team in providing the highest standard of care to our residents. You’ll help us make health happen by: Developing systems, processes, and practices to strengthen our resident care and offering. Managing trading performance, profitability, and identifying opportunities, providing financial reports and updates to the Operations Director and leadership team. Supporting the team through coaching, performance management, and training to deliver a resident-focused service with a can-do attitude. Working closely with management across different departments, including our Clinical Lead and Care Home Manager, to ensure the delivery of high-quality care, hospitality, and support services. Nurturing long-term relationships with residents, their friends and family, customers, and external organisations (e.g., CQC). Leading by example, interacting, and communicating effectively with both our customer base and the wider community. Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role: Previous experience as a Village Manager or managing a large care setting. Comfortable making decisions, seeing the bigger picture, and confident in challenging current processes. Experience leading teams on a journey of continuous improvement. Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt your style to meet the varying needs of internal and external stakeholders. Approachable and open, with the ability to empower our team to deliver the highest standards of care. Because we care for vulnerable people, we’ll need you to complete a DBS check as part of the recruitment process. Bupa will cover the cost of this (£40).
