Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Co-ordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in procuring goods and services for our organisation, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisitions.
This is an exciting role working with an ambitious team of people with lots of opportunity to grow. We are looking for someone who has the ability to multi-task within the business.
You will be responsible for:
-Dealing with our Global suppliers
- Negotiate prices and contracts with suppliers
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed
- Assist in analysing market trends to identify potential suppliers
- Support logistics and supply chain functions
- Maintain accurate records of purchases and pricing
-Updating the team about any delays or problems with suppliers
-Presenting cost analyses to the department
-Maintaining records of supplier contracts
-Maintaining strong relationships with vendors
-Check and confirm order confirmations and return to the supplier.
You will also be responsible for transport processes in ensuring the smooth operation of our transportation services, coordinating various transport companies, and maintaining the highest level of service for our customers.
Experience
The successful candidate should ideally possess:
- Previous experience in a purchasing or procurement role
-Accurate data recording, ability to develop a working knowledge of departmental procedures
-Quick learner
-Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure
- Strong negotiation skills
-Strong numerical skills
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
-Good computer skills and in particular Excel
- Familiarity with SAP would be advantageous

SALARY IS NEGOTIABLE AND DEPENDENT ON SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
