Local Care Direct (LCD) are delighted to offer an amazing training opportunity for aspiring Advanced Clinical Practitioners.
We are looking for two Trainee Advanced Care Practitioners to join our team working 30 to hours per week (Including in hours, evenings, weekends & bank holidays) based at King Street Walk in Centre, Wakefield, WF1 2SN.
Please note: as part of the apprenticeship standard the minimum hours allowed is 30 hours per week.
The trainees will need to work well under pressure within a busy, vibrant environment whilst striving to deliver outstanding care & patient experience. They need to be self-motivated & enthusiastic with a desire to develop leadership skills & clinical experience within the urgent care setting.
They will be supported by members of our education faculty who are a dedicated team of clinical educators from varying backgrounds including GPs & ACPs.
The successful applicants will undertake an MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice (Apprenticeship) at Bradford University, whilst carrying out clinical practice across Local Care Direct sites.
The successful candidates will need to apply for a place on the MSc course with Bradford University. This will be for the Jan 25 intake & employment into the training post will reflect this.
Interviews will be held on 30th September and 3rd October 2024.
On successful completion of the programme & on obtaining a MSc award candidates will be eligible to transition to a substantive position within LCD.
