M365 Software Developer - Public Sector
My leading public sector client is seeking an experienced M365 Software Developer.
The Role:
1. Lead on working with various stakeholders to analyse business requirements, design a solution, build and deploy (including change and release processes, testing and user guidance) SharePoint Online and Microsoft Power Platform business services.
2. Lead and manage a small cross-site team of 2 Support Analysts responsible for resolving SharePoint Online and Microsoft Power Platform technical issues.
3. Maintain existing SharePoint Online and Microsoft Power Platform solutions, implement strong supporting governance and ensure prompt response to problem resolution.
4. Evaluate existing systems, solutions and processes and provide ideas for improvements.
5. Author and execute PowerShell scripts that automate routine administrative tasks. Ability to self-manage workload and work to deadlines.
6. Help mentor and coach members of the team.
Candidates must have the following skills/experience:
1. Experience using PowerFX programming language to create complex functions in Power Apps and Power Automate.
2. Knowledge and experience of application development (minimum 1 year commercial experience).
3. Front End web development skills e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript. Experience of developing and managing solutions built using SharePoint Online and Power Platform.
4. Experience in working with M365 (Admin Centre, Teams, Delve and Search). Knowledge and experience of scripting using PowerShell. Excellent communication skills with system users and vendors to identify, explain, and resolve complex problems.
5. Passion to keep up to date with developments in SharePoint Online and Power Platform.
