Under the overall direction of the Head Teacher, manage the operation and delivery of support services within the school and the planning, development and monitoring of support services. Manage a team of clerical/administrative/caretaking and cleaning
staff. Have budgetary responsibility.

Responsibility for others:
The post has a considerable indirect impact on the well-being of individuals and groups (i.e. physical, mental, social, health and safety) through contributing to school planning and delivering support services to school. Contribute to the smooth running of office procedures and activities.
Responsibility for staff:
The post has responsibility for all support staff (up to 30) comprising different groups of staff covering different areas of activity to include their recruitment, performance management, supervision, work allocation, checking work.
Responsibility for financial resources: The post has responsibility for the financial administration of the school’s budget and
assists with its preparation, monitoring and evaluation.
Responsibility for physical resources:
The post has some direct responsibility for physical resources, involving the careful, accurate, confidential and secure handling/processing of information and maintenance of resources/materials/equipment.
