About the role: Join the BCG Maintenance Team and take the lead in delivering high-quality maintenance and refurbishment projects across our care homes. As our Maintenance and Compliance Supervisor, you will oversee the regional maintenance team and support home-based maintenance teams, ensuring all refurbishment and maintenance work meets quality and compliance standards. You’ll play a key role in maintaining the safety, functionality, and appearance of our care homes while ensuring minimal disruption to residents and staff. Your leadership will drive the successful delivery of refurbishment projects, ensuring that all work is completed efficiently, within budget, and in line with regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities: Lead and manage the regional maintenance team, providing guidance and support to home-based maintenance staff. Oversee all refurbishment and maintenance projects, ensuring they meet company quality standards. Ensure all work complies with legislative, regulatory, and health & safety requirements. Conduct regular inspections to maintain compliance with care home regulations and standards. Identify and implement improvements to maintenance processes, driving efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Work closely with care home teams to minimise disruption to residents and staff during refurbishment activities. Stay updated on regulatory changes and best practices in maintenance and compliance. About you: We’re looking for a motivated and experienced leader with: Proven experience in maintenance, refurbishment, or facilities management, ideally within the healthcare or care home sector. Knowledge of health and safety regulations, building codes, and compliance requirements. Experience managing teams and leading refurbishment or maintenance projects. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure. A proactive and hands-on approach, with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
