Role overview: This role covers all aspects of payroll administration and reporting for certain UK subsidiaries of SCIRIS and support on international payroll where required. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing payroll accurately and on time while ensuring compliance with UK payroll legislation, tax regulations, and company policies. Key Responsibilities for the Payroll Administrator: Processing the monthly payroll for approximately 200 UK employees and support administration for US / Canadian bi-monthly payroll. Ensuring payroll is processed accurately and on time. Manage all aspects of statutory payments and deductions, including SSP, SMP and SPP. Handling of new starters & leavers for all payroll activities, and issuing P45/P60s where needed. Support the Group on year-end activities including P11D and PSA, and support audits where needed. Managing auto-enrolment pension contributions and liaising with pension providers. Support and liaise with HMRC on queries. Resolve employee payroll-related queries efficiently. Perform general payroll administration and assist the Finance team as needed. Provide support and cover on other ad-hoc HR activities when needed. Desired Skills and Experience: · Previous experience in payroll processing within the UK, with strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation, tax, NI, and pensions. · Payfit and BambooHR experience desirable but not essential. · Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software. · Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. · Strong communicator and good problem-solving skills.
