InfraRed represents the infrastructure equity arm of SLC Management, which also incorporates BGO, a global real estate investment management adviser, and Crescent Capital, a global alternative credit investment asset manager. Job Purpose You will be working in the finance team across InfraRed’s funds and corporate entities and you will support the financial reporting, operations and control of InfraRed’s funds and business. In this role you will be responsible for financial reporting and providing relevant, accurate and timely financial information for the relevant business line. Key Job Responsibilities Management of reporting obligations within tight timelines efficiently and effectively, highlighting areas for improvement. Preparation of the Annual and Interim Reports for fund entities and intermediate holding companies. Preparation and/or review of monthly management accounts including analysis and commentary. Manage the monthly, quarterly and year end close processes, including reconciliation of balance sheet items. Liaising with third party administrators and finance managers to ensure they are delivering timely and accurate information. Dealing with other key stakeholders such as bank lenders and FX providers. Manage the relationship with external auditors and the wider InfraRed business, as required, to support timely preparation and audit of annual statutory accounts. Preparation of fund level Corporation Tax computations and regulatory filings, as well as working with the wider group for group tax relief. Providing support for the preparation of quarterly reporting packs for the Board of Directors Preparation and submission of VAT and other regulatory returns. Monitoring timely receipt of distributions from investments and providing cash analysis for semi-annual portfolio valuations, liaising with the wider InfraRed team. Review and authorization of payments within the Company and maintaining appropriate treasury forecasts to predict cash shortages. Monthly review or preparation of cash flow forecasts and identifying funding requirements, including drawdowns and repayment of the fund's debt facility. Liaising with banks to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Assisting with acquisitions and disposals, including funding and liaising with Company Secretarial. Make best use of NetSuite for TRIG; working with the FC and Finance Systems Manager. Identify, explain and address potential issues/challenges and find a effective solutions quickly. Take responsibility for developing own career; role model self-development and take an active role in developing team members to improve knowledge and contribute to a high performing finance function. Work with the wider InfraRed business to identify efficiencies, process improvements and provide information requests to the business. Integrate into the wider InfraRed business to understand business drivers and their impact on the numbers being reported. Skills and Qualifications Qualified accountant (e.g. ACA, ICAS, ACCA or equivalent). Technically strong and able to apply relevant technical knowledge. Ideal candidate will have led on a new system implementation process or supported an implementation process. Extensive use of General Ledger input/output and control, ideally with an ERP such as Netsuite. Experience of fund accounting desirable. Experience of VAT desirable. Competent with Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Highly organised, able to prioritise and meet tight deadlines. Willingness to learn and develop new skills/flexible 'can do' approach. High level of attention to detail and accuracy with a focus on right first time. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Provide recommendations based on analysis and pre-empt questions when presenting findings.
