Your new role reports to the Head of Financial Reporting with the following responsibilities:
1. Manage the Group monthly consolidation process creation in an accurate, timely and efficient way.
2. Build an in-depth understanding of our business and processes and provide unique insight into our numbers.
3. Manage the monthly intercompany reconciliation process, investigating and resolving differences between the various entities.
4. Prepare the related statutory accounts and assist the head of tax with local tax packs.
5. Help drive process improvements with the mindset of continuous improvement, focusing on efficiency.
6. Assist with the Group budget process.
What you'll need to succeed
1. Professional accounting qualification or part-qualified if accompanied with relevant experience.
2. Previous experience in a similar Group Consolidation role would be advantageous, but most important is the drive, energy, and enthusiasm to support the growth of the group finance team.
3. Strong understanding of financial accounting and reporting standards.
4. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. High energy levels to be able to develop relationships globally.
8. Advanced Excel skills.
