Key Responsibilities:
1. Test Strategy and Planning:
Develop and implement a comprehensive test strategy aligned with the overall project objectives.
Create detailed test plans, including test cases, test data, and resource allocation.
Coordinate with stakeholders to identify testing requirements and priorities.
2. Test Execution and Management:
Oversee the execution of various testing phases, including unit testing, integration testing, system testing, and acceptance testing.
Monitor test progress, identify and resolve issues, and report on test results.
Manage testing resources and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
Track and manage defects throughout the testing process using a defect tracking system.
Work with development teams to ensure timely resolution of defects.
Analyze defect trends to identify root causes and prevent future occurrences.
3. Test Automation:
Identify opportunities for test automation to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Select and implement appropriate test automation tools and frameworks.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts.
4. Quality Assurance:
Ensure that the Dorset SIIS Programme meets quality standards and complies with regulatory requirements.
Conduct quality reviews and audits to identify potential risks and issues.
Promote a culture of quality within the project team.
5. Reporting and Communication:
Provide regular status reports on testing activities to project stakeholders.
Communicate test results and recommendations to relevant parties.
Collaborate with other project roles to ensure effective coordination and problem-solving.
