We are delighted to announce an exciting opportunity for a skilled and motivated Network Engineer to join our dynamic IT Support team. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing our organisation's network infrastructure, ensuring seamless connectivity and robust support for all our users.
Reporting directly to the Network & Infrastructure Manager, you will work collaboratively to support the day-to-day operation, security, and development of our IT systems. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual passionate about technology to bring their expertise to a forward-thinking organisation, dedicated to delivering excellence in education and innovation.
In this role, you will:
* Take responsibility for the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of network devices, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points.
* Monitor and optimise network performance to ensure high availability and reliability.
* Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, providing effective technical support to users and other IT staff.
* Assist in planning and implementing upgrades, improvements, and new technologies to support our growing needs.
* Ensure the security of the network infrastructure through proactive monitoring and the implementation of robust security measures.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to support strategic IT projects and initiatives.
