The Role
As the National Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and developing new market opportunities and securing new business. You will work closely with the directors to develop and execute growth strategies, ensuring alignment with the company's long-term goals. This position is ideal for a strategic thinker with a proven track record in business development and a solid understanding of the geospatial survey industry.
Key Responsibilities
1. Identify new market opportunities and sectors to drive business growth, particularly to geospatial surveying companies.
2. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform business development strategies.
3. Develop and implement a robust business development plan that aligns with the company's overall objectives.
4. Build and maintain relationships with specialist surveying companies, main contractors and developers.
5. Develop and nurture strong relationships with new and existing clients to foster long-term partnerships.
6. Work closely with land, topographical, utility and hydrographical surveying partners.
7. Attend industry events, conferences, and exhibitions to represent and expand the company's network.
8. National travel to customers' offices and various sites to promote the business' equipment and services.
Key Skills and Experience
1. Strong business development and account management skills.
2. Demonstrable success in identifying and penetrating new markets with surveying and construction.
3. Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
4. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
