Staff Nurse - RGN/RMN
Salary: £53,500
48 hours per week

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Nurse to join a beautiful nursing home; Renowned for its exceptional care and inviting atmosphere, this nursing and residential home holds a “Good” rating from the Care Quality Commission (CQC). It promotes a supportive and collaborative environment, enabling staff to provide the highest level of care.
In this full-time position, you will work 48 hours per week, covering both day and night shifts on a rotational basis, including alternate weekends. An active NMC PIN is required, along with a proactive approach to ensuring residents receive top-notch nursing care.
Key Requirements:
* NMC Registration: A valid and active NMC PIN is essential.
* Experience: Previous experience in a nursing home or residential care setting is preferred but not essential.
* Flexibility: Willingness to work both day and night shifts on a rotational basis and commit to alternate weekends to meet residents' needs.
* Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and the healthcare team, fostering a supportive and positive environment.

Core Responsibilities:
* Individualised Care: Deliver high-quality nursing care tailored to meet the physical, emotional, and social needs of each resident, ensuring they are treated with dignity and respect.
* Medication Administration: Safely manage and administer medications according to individual care plans while observing and reporting any changes in residents' health.
* Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and care plans, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and supporting clear communication within the care team.
* Team Collaboration: Work alongside other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to resident care, participating in handovers and meetings to align on care priorities.
* Resident and Family Support: Build positive relationships with residents and their families, addressing questions or concerns and providing reassurance regarding care procedures and policies.
