Nursing Home Manager – (50 Beds)

Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 per annum

My Client are a well-established and compassionate care provider, offering a safe, nurturing, and comfortable environment for their residents. Their home is dedicated to providing exceptional care to 50 residents, promoting independence and dignity, and improving quality of life. They are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Nursing Home Manager to join their team and lead the delivery of outstanding care.
The Role:
As the Nursing Home Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the leadership and day-to-day operations of the home. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of care, compliance with CQC regulations, and managing a team of dedicated staff. You will work closely with the senior management team to ensure a seamless and efficient operation of the facility, all while fostering a positive and supportive environment for both residents and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the nursing home to ensure the delivery of high-quality care for our residents.
* Oversee all aspects of the home's operation, including staffing, budgets, and resource management.
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including CQC standards.
* Provide leadership, motivation, and development opportunities for the care team.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, their families, and external stakeholders.
* Implement and monitor care plans, ensuring they are tailored to the individual needs of residents.
* Promote a person-centered approach to care, ensuring residents' dignity and well-being are always prioritized.
* Ensure the home's financial performance meets targets and objectives.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Nursing Home Manager or in a senior management role within a care setting.
* Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid NMC pin number (preferred but not essential).
* Extensive knowledge of CQC standards and healthcare regulations.
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* Ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
* Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
* A genuine passion for providing exceptional care and improving the lives of older adults.
