Role Overview
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our growing business, as part of a friendly & supportive team in a key role. We are seeking to recruit a new Contracts Manager.
As a Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion. You will work closely with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors and internal teams to ensure projects are executed efficiently, on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
• Management of projects with potential values between £20k to £2m.
• Oversee and manage execution, and delivery phases of construction projects.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure clear communication and alignment of project goals.
• Develop programmes and manage timelines to meet deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, quality standards, and building regulations.
• Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process, ensuring timely and efficient solutions.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety.
• Provide leadership and guidance, ensuring effective collaboration and productivity.
What We’re Looking For:
• Proven experience as a Contracts Manager, with a minimum of 2 years in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, project management principles, and safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and handle competing priorities.
• Proficient in project management software and MS Office.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to construction sites as needed.
• Qualifications for CITB SMSTS, First Aid At Work and asbestos awareness (training provided if not held).
