Position: Night Auditor Location: Oxford Employment Type: Full-Time Shift: Night Shift (including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays) Salary between £26,000 About the Role: We are seeking a Night Auditor to join our team. You will go above and beyond to provide a high-quality experience that reflects the standards of the hotel. The role consists of everything you would expect, including providing a seamless check-in experience for late-night arrivals, assuming responsibility for the safety and security of our guests throughout the night, and demonstrating outstanding interpersonal skills for guests and colleagues alike. Ideal candidates will have previous experience in night operations at a hotel as well as strong customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeaner. You will also place health and safety in the highest regard, handling challenges with diplomacy and providing a safe, welcoming, and memorable guest experience. Key Responsibilities: • Assist and support with the night shift operations, including guest relations, housekeeping, food and beverage, security, and maintenance. • Foster effective communication within the team to promote collaboration and a positive work environment. • Anticipate guest needs and exceed expectations through proactive service and problem resolution. • Conduct regular inspections, monitor security systems, and ensure compliance with safety standards. • Handle emergencies or incidents professionally, implementing procedures as required. • Support reservation duties via email, telephone, or other channels. • Ensure smooth shift transitions and prepare detailed operational reports You will work closely with the Night Supervisors and assist them in general activities and duties. What We’re Looking For: • Previous experience in a hotel setting. • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and guest service abilities. • Good knowledge and understanding of security protocols and emergency procedures. • Customer-focused mindset with a passion for exceeding expectations. • Flexibility to work a rota’d schedule, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
