About Us:
Judicium Education exists to keep schools and trusts safe by providing trusted professional services that focus on quality, reliability, and scale. We believe in the power of our people and encourage self-driven innovation. We work with you to drive your career development, providing you with learning opportunities and great specialist support.
We are currently looking for experienced School Clerks and Governance Professionals to join our established and respected countrywide team. If you bring prior experience in a governance or compliance environment, along with strong interpersonal and fantastic administration skills, we'd love to hear from you!
What do our Clerks and Governance Professionals do?
Judicium Education's skilled School Clerks and Governance Professionals offer procedural, regulatory, and governance advice to educational boards, ensuring that governors can carry out their role within legal and regulatory frameworks, facilitating effective school governance and continuous improvement of education standards across the schools we support.
Supported by regular briefings and exclusive training, and in collaboration with volunteers, chairs, and senior school managers, our clerks attend virtual or onsite meetings to assist governing bodies, organise meetings, draft agendas, and accurately record minutes with action timelines. They conduct research from various sources, maintain confidentiality and integrity, and ultimately make a critical contribution to the efficiency, effectiveness, productivity, and compliance of the governing board.
The role is home-based and allows for flexibility, though you would be required to attend schools for onsite meetings, as well as the occasional Head Office meeting. Our clerks are fully supported and provided with regular briefing and exclusive training.

* Strong customer service and communication skills, along with high-level problem-solving abilities.
* Excellent organisational skills and the capacity to work independently, coupled with proficient listening, verbal, and written communication skills. Previous experience in accurate agenda writing and minute-taking is preferred.
* Flexibility to attend office and meetings (both online and in person) at times convenient to the governing body, typically early evening or during the day.
* Willingness to participate in continuing professional development training.
